Imperial Festival 2017
Launched in 2012, Imperial Festival has grown into the College’s flagship public event of the academic year, with over 15,000 visitors attending over the weekend in 2016.
Researchers, students, support staff and alumni come together each year to help throw open the doors of this world leading research university and create a free weekend of exciting science, new technology, live music, fascinating talks, creative workshops and freshly cooked food.
But don’t just take our word for it. The Guardian described Imperial Festival as “a fascinating event” and the Londonist observed that “whoever programmed this glorious beast must have used hyper-dimensional graph paper”.
Find out more about this year’s Festival line-up and enter a competition to tour our historic tower and take home various Festival goodies by registering for tickets.
And personalise your Festival visit at the online programme hub.
Volunteering at the Festival
If you would like to volunteer, please get in contact with the Festival team. We will then send you details of the time slots available. Volunteers will be provided with a full briefing plus meal tickets and a certificate of participation.
The proposals process for submitting contributions to the Festival programme has now closed. However that doesn’t mean that you can’t still get involved. We are still actively recruiting volunteers who play a vital role in event operations and guiding visitors. You don’t have to be available for the whole weekend, we offer lots of different shifts and roles. Further details of these can be found on the left.
