Welcome to the Graduate School's Cohort Building website - we are pleased that you are interested in organising an event/activity and look forward to hearing from you!
Cohort building is the process of bringing groups of students together to undertake activities which facilitate the development of research communities and networks. Cohort building can enhance the research experience by helping students to improve their research skills, professional development and can provide an additional system of support.
The Graduate School’s cohort building programme comprises the delivery of tailored professional skills courses to cohorts of students and the Research Community Fund which can be utilised by students to fund activities and events for their communities.
If you require any support or advice on any aspect of cohort building please contact Dr Caroline Hargreaves, the Graduate School's Cohort-Co-Ordinator.
